Abilities:JANET WILL BRING US "FEEL IT BOY"
After collaborating with Lil' Kim on "Fresh From Yard," the first single from Beenie Man's fall release Tropical Storm, the Kingston, Jamaica native culls another pretty lady into his fold. Beenie's "Feel It Boy" features guest vocals from Janet Jackson over a track produced by the Neptunes.
Beenie told us that working with Janet was a dream come true. "Trust me man. You don't even know," Beenie said. "I always wanted to work with Janet Jackson."
On the song, Beenie makes up with his woman after getting into an argument. "It's all about me explaining to my girl that two wrongs can't make no right," Beenie said about the record, due out on July 3. "We have a little fight, and she come and look at me and say, 'It's all right. Can you feel it boy?' [It] gets me right back in the groove."
Beenie, who worked with the Neptunes on his song "Girls Dem Sugar" last year, said it was good to work with the duo again. "Working with the Neptunes is always great," Beenie said. "They are the kids of the future."
A sample of the song can be heard on Beenie's site www.beenieman.net.
Beenie has recorded some 20 songs for the album, including tracks with guests such as Sean Paul, Justin, and Lady Saw, as well as production from DJ Clue, Dave Kelly, Irv Gotti, and Sly And Robbie.
